Airport Photowalk

Rushing Through
Gardermoen, 2016

One of my favorite places to shoot is at airport’s. It has something to do with the atmosphere and that I’m not sticking my self out that much walking with a camera. I get to pretend I’m just another tourist. 🙂

My absolute favorite time of day to shoot there is late evening, when the tempo is lower, people is fewer and shadows are longer.

I had one picture in mind that I would I try to create, didn’t quite nail it and the “right” suspect didn’t walk by. But I got some other good shoots I think.

On the last picture there I was trying out a technic I heard about to be more “hidden”. I pretended I took a picture of something above them and then lowered the camera pretending I was looking at the picture I just took and then took the picture. I think I was a little nervous so I didn’t see that it was out of focus. I thought I would include it anyway since I liked the subjects and as a reminder to my self to also checking the focus next time and don’t rush it. 🙂

Hope you enjoyed my post and feel free to let me know what you think.

Keep smiling 🙂

    1. Thank you Timothy, and thank you for your comment. It wasn’t my intention to have the handles cover their faces, but I think i works out well since it’s only the two guys wearing the hats that has their faces covered as well.
